High School
The Ridge meets Sundays at 11am, downstairs in the youth room.
The Ridge is the name of the high school youth group at Eastrige. Sundays we take the first 10 minutes to say hi to one another, then we mix with Truth, our middle school youth, for some announcements and worship. Then we dive into the word. Current topic is called The Gospel According To Jesus. Basicly we are unpacking what the gospel means and who Jesus is. After the lesson we break back into high school and middle school groupa and get together with an adult leader and discuss what we went over in the lesson. So if there are some questions or disagreements, this is a great time to express it.
We encourage you to bring your bible as we are working on bible literacy. So dont feel intimidated if you aren't shure where things are. The more we open the bible up together, the more familiar we get with it.

The Ridge meets Wednesdays at 6:15 for midweek
Midweek is a time where we play a few games, somtimes messy and/or gross. Gotta love it! In any case, its a time where we can laugh and have fun together, as well as looking at the bibble in a less formal way. Currently we are discussing what a worldview is and what some worldviws are. We are watching a DVD series called True U published by Focus on the Family. It is designed for high school students. It can be a lot of information, but as Christians we ougt to know what it is we believe. 1 Peter 3:15 tells us to always be ready to give an answer.
