Portland City Fest Projects

Here's how you can participate:

  • 1) Commit to serve by returning the Luis Palau Cityfest brochure/advocate card (placed in the seat pockets) to the Outreach kiosk in the lobby.
  • 2) Mark your summer calendar for one or more of the service projects listed below.
  • 3) Pray for five people (friends/family/coworkers) and then invite them to serve with you on the project(s) you have chosen.
  • 4) Join all you served with to celebrate at Portland Cityfest August 22 & 23, 2008.

 

Here's what Eastridge is doing for the Summer of Service:

  • June 14, 2008- Health Fair, Woodmere Elementary School in SE Portland: To sign up go to www.compassionse.org
  • June 28, 2008- Clackamas Service Center Clean Up
  • July 7-11, 2008- Eastridge Church Kids Club
  • July 26, 2008- Mitchell Creek Park (162nd & Foster) Clean up
  • August (dates tba), 2008- North Clackamas School Dist. summer lunch program
  • August 16, 2008- Johnson Creek clean up
