Pastor Rick Millikin

8 And being found in appearance as a man,

1. Live a Life of Forgiveness.

14 For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. Matthew 6: 14-15 (NIV)

"Jesus answered him, ‘I tell you the truth, today you will be with Me in paradise.'" Luke 23:43 (NIV)

2. Help others to Live Life too.

"When Jesus saw His mother there, and the disciple whom He loved standing nearby, He said to His mother, ‘Dear woman, here is your son,' and to the disciple, ‘Here is your mother.' From that time on, this disciple took her into his home." John 19:26-27 (NIV)

3. Be aware of the needs of others.

"About the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, ‘Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?'--which means, ‘My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?'" Matt. 27:46 (NIV)

4. Bring life's tough questions to God.

"Later, knowing that all was now completed, and so that the Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, ‘I am thirsty.'" John 19:28 (NIV)

5. Be humble enough to ask for help.

8 And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself and became obedient to death-
even death on a cross! Phil 2:8 (NIV)

"When He had received the drink, Jesus said, ‘It is finished.' With that, He bowed His head and gave up His Spirit." John 19:30 (NIV)

6. Discover the purpose for the pain.
