I’ve been leading worship at Eastridge pretty much since the get go in 1994, and have served as full time Worship Pastor since the Summer of 1999.
I was raised in a wonderful christian home where I learned about music as well as faith. And then in my mid twenties I had a profound spiritual awakening that changed my life. I I dropped my “pro musician” gig to follow the call to ministry, and now I get to serve the Church as a worship leader, pastor, spiritual director, preacher,... And whatever else I get to do, it's all about this passion I've been given and can't shake: I want to help as many people as possible know the love of Jesus and learn what it is to reconcile all of life to him.
Other personal info that helps make me who I am: I've been married to Wendy, my high school sweetheart, since 1986. We have two boys, two girls and one grandson!
I’m an identical twin and so is my brother… I’m Mennonite as far back as anyone can see… I was born in Virginia and grown in Florida…
I cut my teeth on bluegrass and sharpened them on the new wave, pop-punk and progressive rock of the 80’s…
And I like ice cream…
